MADNESS AT HOME (POST-HARDCORE NOISE)

Nati a Roma, Italia, nel 2019, I Madness at Home trovano la loro amalgama in un mix di Post-hardcore e Noise, influenzati dalla scena post-hardcore/alternative anni ‘90 di band come Nirvana, Fugazi, Jesus Lizard e Unwound e dalla scena più moderna e recente portata in auge da band come Metz, Idles e Gilla band. Il loro suono risulta sporco, ossessivo e distorto.
Pubblicano un primo EP omonimo ad inizio 2020 sotto la Seahorses Recording, ma vengono poi costretti ad un lungo periodo di fermo a causa della pandemia. 
Ad inizio 2022 iniziano la loro collaborazione con Overdub Recordings e cominciano le registrazioni del loro album di debutto “Shoelace”, uscito il 14 Ottobre dello stesso anno.
Dal 2023 sono in tour in Italia e in Europa per promuovere il primo disco appena uscito.
Da Settembre 2024, con il cambio di line up al basso, iniziano la stesura di nuovi brani che incorporano pian piano nei loro live in attesa di un futuro nuovo album.

Formed in Rome, Italy, in 2019, Madness at Home found their unique blend in a mix of post-hardcore and noise, influenced by the '90s post-hardcore/alternative scene with bands like Nirvana, Fugazi, Jesus Lizard, and Unwound, as well as by more recent and modern acts such as Metz, Idles, and Gilla Band. Their sound is raw, obsessive, and distorted.

They released their self-titled debut EP in early 2020 under Seahorses Recording, but were then forced into a long hiatus due to the pandemic.
In early 2022, they began their collaboration with Overdub Recordings and started recording their debut album Shoelace, which was released on October 14th of the same year.
Since 2023, they’ve been touring across Italy and Europe to promote their newly released first album.

As of September 2024, following a lineup change on bass, they began writing new material, gradually incorporating it into their live shows while working towards a future new album.
